A spacious, four-bedroom home, off-grid on thousands of acres of Ol Maisor wilderness. Family-owned and run, it's a self-catered home built for couples, multi-generational families and groups of friends who want real wilderness without the big fees and formality.

Two ensuite bedrooms sit in the main house, with two more in a separate cottage sharing a bathroom — all with hot showers and flush toilets. The main house opens onto a large verandah overlooking the lawn, a small pool, a dam, and the river beyond.

Self-catered, we provide:

  • Borehole water (cleaning and washing) & filtered drinking water

  • Solar power, hot water, WiFi

  • Bedding, towels, toilet paper & soap

  • Fully equipped kitchen (4-hob gas oven, fridge/freezer, utensils & crockery)

  • Firewood and a BBQ

  • House cleaner and night guard

Not included:

  • Bronze Level Guide — KES 2,000 per group per day (in your own vehicle)

  • Guided game drive in the Ol Maisor vehicle — KES 12,900 for a half day per group

  • Fishing rods — KES 1,500 per rod per day (worms provided free)

  • Cook — KES 1,500 per day

  • Gratuities — KES 500–1,000 per employee per day

A Day On Ol Maisor

We highly recommend self-drive game drives in a 4x4 around the farm (a map with "hot spots" is provided).

The house sits in an area of rich natural diversity — herds of elephant, buffalo and giraffe, and predators including lion, leopard and cheetah. Bird life is exceptional, with high concentrations of different species.
